Sardinia - Agriturismo Donna Lina in Orosei

The Agriturismo Donna Lina is locted at the east coast of Sardinia near the town of Orosei close to the Orosei Bay. You can go there from the airport in Olbia in 90 minutes.
Encircled by palms, vine and olive trees there are 8 nice apartments. We booked the half-board option and it was a wise decision, because the food was one of the highlights of Donna Lina. For breakfast you didn’t get only the typical Italian breakfast comprising a croissant and coffee, but we got different sorts of cereals, bread, cheese and lot more. The dinner was always a 4 course meal starting with cold starters, followed by pasta and therafter the main dish followed by fruits or sweets. It was fantastic and our kids loved it as well.

We had an Apartment with a living room, a kitchen, a bath room and two bedrooms. There was a child bed available as well. On the terrace there have been two sunbeds.
Near the house there was a swimming pool, but unfortunately a bit too cold. Close by was a playground for the kids.
The house was excellent for kids. Donna Lina is listed in the catalogue of Vamos Vacations, a specialist for vacation with kids. That led to the point, that almost all guests were families with small kids. Our kids loved it to have always someone around to play with. Also nice that nobody felt disturbed by the kids also a meal time. Excellent for the parents as well.
The beach was 3 km away but only a short drive by car. The beach is ideal for kids to play in the sand and our kids did it most of the time.

Starting in Orosei you could do a lot of excursions to other beaches or into the interior of the island. The streets are quite winding because of the mountains. Therefore you need a lot of time.
If you plan to go around the entire island, you definitely need to plan a round trip with different accommodations, because Sardinia is too big to do it just from one point.
